"Gorgeous views "

Stopped on a business trip and a welcome relief from corporate hotels. Nice staff, extremely comfortable bed with high quality linen and food hit the spot. Liked that English wines were on offer !

"Exceptional"

Lovely stay at the Suite Balfour Brut Rose room. Very spacious. Luxurious feel, clean and the bed, beddings and mattress very very good, comfortable and clean. Full english breakfast also good. The roast dinner can be improved, taste-wise but overall we had a lovely stay. Thank you to the staffs who attended to us. Special mention to Hannah.

"A fine Stay"

The superior room was very charming. We had a good meal in the evening, found the wine nice if expensive. I had trouble sleeping not helped by the church bells peeling throughout the night!! I love Painswick & the Falcon is a good choice if you don’t mind the sound of bells!

We have stayed here before but many years ago, the Falcon is under new ownership, the superior room was very charming. We had a good meal in the evening, found the wine prices quite pricey. I had trouble sleeping not helped by the church bells peeling throughout the night!! I love Painswick & the Falcon is a good choice if you don’t mind the sound of bells!

"Good"

Room was clean and at first glance impressive but no bath tub no dressing table and mirror and bed gave me bad backache. Main building and bar/reception smelt bad and needs total upgrade looked grubby. Not impressed at all

A great place to stay when working in the Glos. area. Accommodation very comfortable, WIFI very reliable. Food in the restaurant very tasty & a good selection of ales & wines. Breakfast one of the best and a real treat. New Manager & team - service very good and friendly
