Taj Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer

Excellent accommodation-class and character. Very good food. Lovely spa - massages by Liza were terrific. Good pool too.

Our stay at **Taj Jaisalmer** from **8th to 9th March** was truly memorable. We had come to celebrate a special day, and the team went out of their way to make it unforgettable. A special thanks to **Jayanti** and **Gitesh**, the Duty Managers, who warmly welcomed us and ensured our room was beautifully decorated with a cake waiting for us. Their thoughtful gesture made our celebration even more special. We were also very well looked after by **Anindia**, **Shreya**, and **Yoko**, who were attentive and courteous throughout our stay. The F&B team, especially **Chef Nitin** and another colleague, recommended some excellent dishes—the pizza was absolutely delicious. A big thank you to **Sandeep Singh** for arranging our tour to **Longewala** and **Tanot Border**. The trip was very well organized, with a well-maintained car and a polite, professional driver, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that truly reflects the warmth and care of **Taj hospitality**. The dedication and ethos the team carries to create memorable guest experiences is amazing. Thank you for making our stay so special and memorable. ✨

Great location, atmosphere, excellent rooms, all staff are brilliant. Enjoyed the high tea & entertainment at night. The manager Jayanti was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel was very welcoming and gave us a warm send off, which we were touched by. We give it 10/10 hotel, wish we could have this hotel in Delhi too!

A little lacking in service doesn’t feel like a Taj property. Staff around the pool and spa particularly. The spa facilities are not adequate.

The property was anything but Taj like (probably because they joined hands with the earlier owner and just run it under their name) rooms smallish and full of stuff that noone needs (pillows, body-rolls, advertisements etc). No closet! Not very important, but symptomatic: room key was disfunctional every single day. Every day promise. Every day the same. after being promised the invoice 4 times by 3 people, I got it in my 5th attempt Especially for the high price, this was definetely a disappointment. Even though a Taj and Tata-Fan: I will certainly avoid next time

Is echt een Taj Hotel met onberispelijke hospitality. Heel schoon alles ook. Iedereen is behulpzaam en vriendelijk zonder dat het beklemmend is. We kregen bovendien een upgrade naar prachtige connecting rooms. Het buffet was heel goed. Bij het ontbijt maakten ze speciaal voor ons healthy drinks. Compliments!

Alles was OK! Afstand 2 km van het fort is geen probleem. Wel even tuktuk voor de deur scoren.
