Elite Park Hotel

Die Lage vom Hotel war perfekt zentral. Am Morgen konnten wir ein sehr gutes vielfältiges Frühstück geniessen. Das Empfangspersonal war sehr freundlich.

This was the first and, without a doubt, the last time I dealt with this place. Unfortunately, the level of customer service was extremely disappointing. I never expected to face a situation like this in Sweden, but apparently everyone encounters such experiences at least once. Here is my unfortunate story. The hotel charged me approximately 1,200 SEK because of what appears to have been a mistake in their booking system. I made a reservation through Booking.com and received a notification that the property had declined my booking. I have all the supporting emails as evidence. Since I was traveling with my child, I immediately booked accommodation elsewhere. Some time later, however, I started receiving messages from the hotel asking me to confirm the very same booking that had supposedly been declined. As an experienced traveler, I called the hotel immediately to clarify the situation. Instead of helping me cancel the reservation while I was still within the free cancellation period (until 14:00), the staff member kept me on the phone for several minutes without providing any real assistance. The call ended at 14:02 — just two minutes after the deadline for free cancellation had passed. I explained the situation clearly and in detail, but the staff seemed either unwilling or unable to help. The result was that I lost both my time and my money. A receptionist should know how to assist guests and resolve issues, not contribute to them. I sincerely hope this review reaches a manager who genuinely cares about the hotel’s reputation and customer experience, because what happened here was completely avoidable and handled very poorly.

Det var fräscht och fint . Personalen var hjälpsamma och jättetrevliga och frukosten var utmärkt .

Das Personal im Hotel ist wirklich freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen, die Möglichkeit, (gut gepflegte) Fahrräder zu leihen ist fantastisch! Außerdem ist das Frühstück qualitativ hochwertig und wirklich divers aufgestellt, auch vegane Alternativen und losen Tee gibt es zu genüge.

30€/Nacht und Hund ist überzogen, pauschal 30€ zu berechnen wäre nachvollziehbarer. Die Badezimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
