Grande Denali Lodge

Staff made the stay easy frommeeting us up from the train depot to making sure that will get to our motor coach in time as there was a mudslide so train tracks are not passable. room is clean and beds are comfortable. breakfast at Alpenglow Restaurant is great, got a lot of choices. will definitely recommend to friends!

A pleasant stopover, great in every way!!!

The staff are great. The evening front desk supervisor was very kind and helpful. Room is very clean. We were in a last minute pinch due to another property giving our room away after we prepaid 6 months in advance. This property worked out for the best. Thank you!

Truly appreciated the entire staff at this resort. Everyone was bright, articulate, informative and customer focused. Resort is relatively new and both rooms and common areas were well appointed, spacious and clean. Great views from the main building! Shuttle service ran every 40 minutes to the restaurant area “downtown “, Denali National Park, and the train station.

Rooms were clean and to standard but a terrible sewage odour throughout the hotel

All accommodations near Denali are over-priced for what you get so I’ll try to not be overly harsh on Grande Denali Lodge but it’s still disappointing to pay over $330 for a very basic, Motel 6 quality room. I’m primarily writing to warn potential guests that the hotel is not close to anything (on top of a very steep hill) so be prepared to be gouged $32 for breakfast and $40-50+ for dinner. There is no Uber Eats or DoorDash in Denali and it’s almost an hour of walking (half it it steep uphill) to each anywhere except Grande Denali Lodge’s one, overpriced restaurant

One of our family members has multiple allergies. Chef Brad at the Alpine glow restaurant was amazing! Not only was he able to accommodate my son’s allergies, but the food was five star across the board. Highly recommend. Our waiter Colin was top out of this world. The lodge itself was wonderful. Super clean and very accommodating to any needs. It was one peaceful! So glad we chose to stay here.

The coffee ☕️in the restaurant, ☕️ the espresso bar, and ☕️ the guest rooms is way, WAY beyond horrible 😳 ☕️ 😝 Your Grand Denali Lodge is such a fine, classy place, in a truly awesome setting. Why not upgrade your coffee to match this priceless ambiance❓

We recently visited this hotel at the end of the summer season. The hotel is perched high atop a hill overlooking the Denali township and Nenana River. It is only a short drive to Denali National park and the town centre. Close to restaurants and souvenir shops. Our room was spacious with 2 queen size beds. It was well sound insulated and we were not disturbed by other guests. We dined at the hotel restaurant on two nights which provides a great view of the river, mountains and National Park. I would recommend staying here.
