LOcation is good. No people around. spacious rooms and warm during the winter season. Water in the room.

Not easy to access by car - only if there is a space across the street. The shared bathroom even if you do not have other travellers staying on the same floor, it is inconvenient.

Lovely space,bedroom and separate sitting room, in an old building. Easy walking to restaurants and to Emser Spa. Large bathroom, which was to be shared but we did not see any other guests while there. Secure garage to store bikes.

Slight delay to confirm use of garage, meaning bikes were on street over 1st night.

Location, tasteful renovation, modernization, decoration.

1) No private, only shared bathroom. 2) Upon arrival, room was freezing cold all night (late December). Almost 1/2 day after my complaint, the owner reacted by lecturing me on lack of natural gas in Germany, healthiest sleeping temperature, and impossibility to create "sauna temperatures" in hotel rooms. Then, he nevertheless changed settings of central heating (no room thermostats available) and began to heat neighboring rooms (hotel had purposely been cooled down because there were no guests before my arrival). Finally, 2 days after my arrival, 22 deg Celsius were achievable in daytime, somewhat less at night. On the day before my departure, a new guest knocked at my door to ask if I "also was having problems with room temperature"... Apparently, the owner hadn't learned anything from my experience, namely that if you are to welcome guests to a cooled-down hotel, you should at least prepare by heating the rooms in question 1 or 2 days before their arrival. Or is it all about the ideology of "great, let's all freeze against Putin"?
