Weak shower

Breakfast great

No elevator

Coffee was weak, it was a machine, did not taste like coffee. Needed additional choice for cereal.

When I checked in was told only room was on 2nd floor and no elevator. My wife could not climb stairs due to disability. Finally agreed to give a first floor room. They were in process of changing all the furniture in all the rooms. All old furniture was in rear of property. Was a mess.

The hotel is not far from town or the highway. Decent sized room.

They are in the midst of remodeling the rooms so there was a lot going on during the day. Most of the furniture was brand new but the bathroom was not updated ( rusty ceiling rails, leaky shower head, fan didn’t work well) Also the breakfast had not much variety and was the same everyday.

This property was completely unacceptable and I want a full refund! After driving 3 hours we arrived to a hotel with no lights because it was being run by generators which were hooked up through proper open doors to the hotel. Upon entering the facility it was apparent it was under construction by the pungent smell of some sort of chemicals which was so strong we couldn’t sleep. We paid for a room with a fireplace and couldn’t use the fireplace because the room filled with gas, which is unfortunate because our heat was not on in our room so after a 3 hours drive we had to sit by the pool and wait for it to heat up. The shower had horrible pressure and draining. The coffee and hot chocolate were flavored water. The breakfast was the hot stuff plus food left out over night from the day before, this place should be condemned! It is a rip off to charge people to stay here. I will be posting this review on every travel site I can until I receive a full refund for this dump!

Nothing this place is a dump

This place was a dump! It was being run by generators, smelled strongly of construction fumes and gas, staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. We paid for a room with a fireplace and the fireplace filled the room with gas so we couldn’t use it which sucked because they didn’t turn the heat on our room and it was freezing when we got there so we had to wait by the pool for two hours after our long drive to warm up. Terrible hotel!

Very convenient to the highway, Saugatuck and Douglas. Appreciated the room darkening shade. Quiet. Front desk staff very welcoming.

Pool was closed and winter storm meant no satellite tv and movies— both would have been nice since we were snowbound.
