Polite and helpful staff, clean rooms.

I really expected more for how much it cost. The two complaint-worthy problems were the bathroom and the bedlinens. The shower is 1/3-glassed with no door, so it wasn’t as warm or comfortable as I think is normally expected from a nice hotel, and splashes out onto the floor if you aren’t mindful of it the whole time. With the cool breeze equivalent of leaving a door open, I didn’t feel relaxed at all. The bedlinens were quite hard and coarse and I didn’t sleep very comfortably because of it. I was really surprised how uncomfortable they were, and I really don’t consider myself a picky hotel-goer. The room was technically fine overall, but this kind of discouraged me from ever spending a premium for a one-night hotel stay ever again.
