Yosemite Westgate Lodge

Great location very close to Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite. Large, clean room. Ice machine outside room and fridge inside.

I was appalled that the staff had rubbish bags sitting outside each room when we checked in and stayed there for the next 4.5 hours. Considering we are in bear country, this would attract bears. It looked dirty and I wish I never booked there. Also management were less than inviting. Never again,

Het is ontzettend gehorig, vooral door de connecting door konden we letterlijk het gesprek van de buren horen. Personeel kon niks betekenen omdat we al ingecheckt hadden. Alsof we van te voren wisten dat het zo gehorig was?! Bij de check in werden we gelukkig prettig geholpen.

Proximity to Yosemite Park and the outdoor space at the hotel was very cute.

La proximité sans être trop près du Yosemite

Ce lodge est très ancien avec des équipements vétustes. La spa ne fonctionnait pas, la piscine était glaciale mais le pire fut l'accueil. Une dame qui refusait de lire mon nom sur le passeport, qui voulait me faire payer les 2 enfants alors que j'avais tout réglé à l'avance sur booking. Elle nous a expliqué qu'il y avait un bug elle n'a fait que dénigrer booking et voulait nous faire payer un logement qui était déjà notre plus gros budget de notre séjour. Nous avons refusé lui montrant que nous avions payé pour 5 et que c'était son problème... vraiment pas top !
