Holiday Inn Express - Sunnyvale - Silicon Valley by IHG

Good stay

Shower floor was slippery and I went down catching the back of my head on soap/shampoo dispenser. Went by ambulance to hospital and had 6 staples put in my head and was kept 1 1/2 days for testing and observation. When I returned to the hotel. The manager asked me why I was still there. I had 4 more nights on my reservation and I was there to visit my son and I was also recovering from a head injury. I did not receive any empathy or kindness. He did offer me a tub mat but I asked for one more because it was too small. I thought he would at the very least, comp my room, but he did not. I had my husband fly in from Myrtle Beach to be with me to make sure I was okay. All of his staff were helpful and kind but I cannot recommend this hotel because the manager was unprofessional and lacking training on how to treat a woman who has suffered an injury in his hotel.

The staff are all so friendly and efficient here. The manager Elvin is very very nice and accommodating .It is also very clean and the breakfast are very tasty and served nice and hot. We enjoy staying here and would highly recommend it! Thanks to all the staff for making us feel “ at home “ here!

Jacob who checked us in was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and competent. Also the management happily and quickly moved us to another room when a very loud family moved into the room next to ours. The location of the hotel was perfect for us to work in the area. There was plenty of parking and the breakfast was more than adequate.

The location for our purpose was great! The hotel is very clean. The front desk employees were super nice. The beds are comfortable and the room is wide enough.
