The staff was nice and helpful. The pool was refreshing.

I stayed 3 nights. Initially, they gave me a room on the first floor, but since it smelled musty, I asked to be moved. They moved me to the third floor, which seemed a bit better at first, but considering I couldn't open the window and they only clean every other day, it quickly developed a musty and damp smell there too. The day after I arrived, the alarm went off in the middle of my 3-year-old's nap, and we had to evacuate the building. The firefighters came and said it was a problem with one of the two elevators. The next day, the elevators broke down again, and I had to carry 3 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons down the stairs. The minibar froze everything, and the ice machine on the third floor didn't work. The staff was very attentive, but they could do nothing to remedy our experience

The location is excellent for enjoying Sanibel Island. Just 15 mins from it. Very clean. We stayed with our pet dog very accommodating. We really enjoy it.

The breakfast was meh

I like the location of the property. The beds were comfortable. The woman that checked me in and checked me out was very friendly and helpful. I believe her name was Liza.

I was extremely disappointed with the breakfast that was supposed to be included. The breakfast area had waffle mix all over the counter and on the floor and no one bothered to clean it up. There was no spray for the waffle machine. The juice machine was not working. No refrigerator with yogurts, milk, etc. There was no variety for food, they only made scrambled eggs and boiled sausage. Once the eggs ran out, they refused to make more claiming it took too long. There were no waffle topping options. There were no option for breads or pastries, the case was totally empty. The staff working the breakfast area was not friendly and they moved so slow with no desire to be there. The woman looked dirty, wearing her tennis shoes like slippers and moving without purpose even though people wanted food. She made us wait while she took personal calls on her cell phone. The coffee area was dirty and coffee was not refilled on a regular basis. I sent a text to the front desk manager and they responded by saying they apologize but the food truck was not there yet. I had to go out for breakfast during my stay. The whole point of selecting your hotel was because a hot breakfast was included. Also, I went to the pool and there were no towels in the pool area even though there were two bins for clean towels.
