Casa da Aldeia by An Island Apart

Espaço incrível, bastante acolhedor, localizado no centro que torna tudo perto do alojamento. Vista excelente e vizinhança calma. Anfitrião sempre à distância de uma mensagem mesmo fora de horário.

Alguns eletrodomésticos não estavam a funcionar. O acesso de carro é desafiante para carros muito grandes, no nosso caso. Mas nada problemático

A casa é muito agradável, com bom espaço exterior e boas vistas. Estava bastante limpa e completamente equipada. O barbecue no exterior foi um plus para melhorar a experiência. Gostámos muito da casa.

Encontrar a casa e aceder à casa. O acesso é um caminho estreito e acidentado. Se o carro é grande (ou uma carrinha de 9 lugares no nosso caso), é preciso alguma perícia e calma para fazer a manobra de entrar e sair da propriedade. Atenção se chover que o caminho fica bastante escorregadio e mesmo travando, o carro pode resvalar. Com o tempo, uma pessoa habitua-se, mas é um desafio.

The house is charming , but chilly.

There was no welcome pack.and the host did not greet us. The steep hill was a shock for us as not mentioned in description. While locals are used to it, it was a challenge for us women aged 85 and 80! The taxi service recommended to us would not drive to the house ( either arriving or departing) so we had to cope with all the luggage on this steep hill. It took approx 20 mins to walk up from town - all uphill. So we did not self cater!

Das Haus hatte viel Platz und es war sehr sauber. Die Terassen waren toll und der Blick aufs Meer traumhaft

Das Hsus war trotz Navi schlecht zu finden und die Dusche war zu kalt, es konnten nicht alle nacheinander duschen, sobald der erste fertig war, wurde das Wasser bucht mehr richtig warm, was mit Kindern leider nicht so toll ist.

Nice terrace and outdoor areas, from which you can see banana plantations, ocean and mountains. The house is located in a remote area, away from city hustle, and you get your own “villa” feeling. We liked the cats that joined the breakfast outside. The house has everything needed to make breakfast/dinner, even found some toys for the baby. There is a big supermarket only in a 15-20 minutes walking distance (but steep streets), and the street near the coast is approx. in the same distance, and has lots of restaurants.

As everyone is mentioning - the street is very steep and narrow. For us it was fine but our parents drove as little as possible because of it. Also, google maps showed incorrect direction (sometimes) but it is one way street (goes downwards). Also the swingchair fell over once, so be extra careful using it. There was only one set of keys provided for us, which was a bit inconvient travelling with two families/cars. We did manage by leaving the keys in the lockbox on the street side.

Dom położony na zboczu wzgórza.Piękne widoki z okien. Wyjątkowy dojazd - nieco skomplikowany z uwagi na bardzo wąską stromą boczną ulicę, ale dla doświadczonych kierowców nie powinien stanowić problemu.Przestrzeń wokół domu wystarczająca. Zapewnione miejsce parkingowe na terenie posesji -brama na pilota.W okolicy plantacje bananów, codziennie nad ranem pianie koguta.

Dom oprócz sypialni nie ma pomieszczenia ,w którym można by było wspolnie spędzić czas w chociażby 4 osoby. Są jedynie dwa małe saloniki z dwuosobowymi sofami na różnych poziomach.W kuchni też mało miejsca . W 4 osoby był problem z szykowaniem posiłku. Do tego niestety bardzo śmierdzi kanalizacją . Lodówka i kabiny prysznicowe wymagają większej higieny.

Das Haus lag an einer sehr seilen und engen Straße, die auch schwer erreichbar war. Der Vermieter/Verwalter meldete sich nicht einmal. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe- Bei Wind und Regen (war leider der Fall) schlugen und klapperten die Türen und Fensterläden
