The bed was nasty and the room did not lol clean

the room was clean

the staff was for some reason saying they didn't see my extended stay for an extra day that I paid for and booking.com was letting me know it was something fishy up with that so booking.com refunded me my stays and the property was still trying to charge my card for weeks I don't trust the property for 3rd party booking from now on it will be pay at property no 3rd party pay because I was told they do stuff like that to keep our money and it made me sick and nerves to be so far with my son alone

Selma is a depressed blighted area for the most part. The Baymont exemplified this. It is mainly a hotel for workers not travelers. Even though flooring is updated, the bed was old & the tub was old jacuzzi that was hard to get in & out for showers. The breakfast was okay but limited. Staff was friendly, helpful & accommodating.

This is no 5 star hotel BUT it was clean and in a convenient location. The front desk lady Audrey was very pleasant to talk to in the morning. I wish I could remember the girl name, but she has lots of tattoos and cleans the rooms. She really took the time out to make sure I was in a room near my sister and that my room was clean and had fresh towels. She told me to wait 15-20 minutes and was done in 10 minutes! And told me to make sure I let her know if there are any issues. That made me feel like she took pride in her work and appreciated me as a customer. I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical at first when I pulled up because this isn't a "really nice" hotel. But it was clean and staff was friendly. King size bed was comfy too!

The hotel was nice for the area which was noisy with loud cars driving by. What made it a good stay was the friendly staff. Especially Audrey who worked the breakfast area. She had so much love for everyone which everyone notices.

It was decent for the price
