JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel

We stayed at the JW Marriott hotel in Bucharest. It was a great experience. The breakfast has a wonderful array of choices for all tastes. The rooms are clean, with good bedding and pillows. The staff is very welcoming, from the valets to the room service staff. Some of the members we had a great rapport with: Namik (breakfast waiter) is the best; he took care of us very well. He is very attentive and gracious. Thank you, Namik, for your service and help! Ionesh (I might be mispelling his name), also a breakfast waiter, was very attentive and answered all of our questions patiently. Ana Maria (executive lounge) and Pamela, both very attentive, with beautiful smiles and smart conversationalists, thank you for your service! Cozmin, at the front check-in desk, was very courteous and helpful. And, Umes, the housekeeper, is very courteous, attentive, and took good care of our room. Overall, a great stay, I recommend it.

We stayed here on the last night of our river cruise. It’s a huge, elegant hotel and the room was massive. We had a view of the new church under construction next door. It is big so it feels like it takes a long time to get to the room! All the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was one of the most impressive I’ve seen in a while. I’d definitely stay here again.

Although very large the hotel offers great hospitality. The rooms are large and spacious, the shower is in the bath, rather than walk-in. The quality of food is of a high standard and the staff extremely helpful.

Everything was perfect. Roxana on the front desk (reception) she was very helpful and all the staff good behaviour.
