The Lancaster Manor B&B

We were greeted warmly by Connie at the front door with a magnificent aroma of freshly baked banana nut bread; it had just been pulled out of the oven! Chef John greeted us in the beautiful renovated kitchen as we made our way through the house tour. The smell of baked goods, lit furnace heaters throughout brought back tons of childhood memories and immediately made me feel like we were home. The French room was our haven for the night. Robes, house slippers, fresh sheets, towels and makeup rag were available. A quiet retreat for sure the birds in the trees were the only sound we could hear.HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Connie and John are great hosts, Chefs and know how to make you feel special!

This is a hidden gem in a city that may not see many tourists. The owners and chefs, John and Connie, were amazing!!!! They were very welcoming and hospitable! Check in was a great experience! They greeted us, took us into the kitchen to get our breakfast orders and treated us to some complimentary glasses of wine and homemade banana nut bread. Upstairs, they had a small table with complimentary small, chocolate pastries. We stayed in the Rose Room that had a king bed and a fire place! The following morning, our breakfast consisted of a small mixed fruit cup over a bed of Greek yogurt and topped with homemade granola. For our main breakfast I had a large omelet with all the fixings plus a side of sausage, and my wife had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and a side of bacon. Bear in mind, John and Connie are chefs, so the breakfast was world class!!! They also treated us to some homemade biscuits with homemade plum and Dutch apple pie jellies. To top our breakfast off, they made us two banana nut pancakes with organic New Hampshire maple syrup. Like I said, this breakfast was world class, and from what I have heard about other B&B experiences, this is the kind of breakfast you won’t find at any other American B&B! I highly recommend a trip up to Gainesville, Tx just to experience this wonderful, quaint, and surprisingly upscale B&B that has elements of fancy combined with a down home country demeanor!

I chose to experience this delightful BnB in Gainesville last night. While only there for a hot second, I was spoiled with yumminess, the kindest inn keepers, white glove service, and a full-helping of all “antique charm” that I adore. I would HIGHLY recommend the Lancaster Manor for special events or a simple reset. Cheers!

Its a lovely, charming home, well maintained, the hosts are wonderful, the food was amazing and i hope to return soon.

Amazing food and the staff is extremely helpful and caring.. If you are a foodie, this is the place for you. Everything is fresh, organic, and home made. We enjoyed our stay!

Husband and I stayed here overnight and attended a concert at nearby Winstar Casino. Both husband & wife hostesses were wonderful and very sweet folks. B&B is very homey, absolutely love the antique feel... the stove in the kitchen is amazing looking (wish I had my own!) The treats, snacks and breakfast was all very delicious! Will definitely stay here again if we stay overnight for a concert or need a quick stay away from home!

Connie and John have created a really cool high quality experience. My wife and I are foodies and everything was top notch and well prepared. Great historical updated venue and close to Winstar. Excellent hosts!!

This place is a hidden gem. It is a beautiful B&B but that’s just the beginning. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I have never been treated so graciously by any host. They are both accomplished chefs and the snacks and breakfast were outstanding. Next time we will plan better ahead and let them cook us dinner the night before. They also run a shuttle to the casinos if time allows. We are already looking at dates to book a long weekend with them again.

This was easily our favorite B and B stay. The hosts were engaging and enjoyable without being pushy or awkward. The food was delicious and to order. The room was clean and roomy without a lot of clutter like some B and B’s. Connie and John added lots of touches to make us feel welcome and at home.
