Air and fan ran all night even when turned off. Otherwise fine

Fantastic location. Many locations to eat. Enjoyed the roof upstairs. Leaving lower review due to not getting the room selected on app (room with city view / bathtub vs shower).

Please consider staying at another hotel. I wasn't going to leave a review however after speaking to the hotel this more and being told I needed to be quiet by the man answering the phone and 6:30am, I am going to start with a review. Last night was my daughter's 21st birthday. She left her phone at The Roof, the bar on top. They were leaving and my daughter left her phone. She didn't realize until they walked out and she sent her sister (25) to get it. They wanted her to unlock it, sh didn't know the passcode and locked it. She called the phone and they said and I quote, "that just proves you know her." My daughter who turned 21 went back to get the phone and they used face ID with her sister and when she went to unlock the phone with the right password, it was already locked for an hour. Obviously, drinking, my daughter was mad and I thought she was overreacting. However, as soon as I arrived and after being told to be quiet on the phone this morning, she was 100% justified. Their staff is absolutely unprofessional. I am in town from Illinois and was at my hotel. I own the phone. My oldest daughter called me and I drove there to get the phone. I am the account holder and asked to get the phone so I can prove it. I asked for them to get the phone 3 times politely. So polite, there was a man at the front desk who told the two girls working with the person who was very condescending, who I found out lied to me when she said she was the manager, they were not listening to be and being ridiculous with a phone. Several people came up to me and told me that they were being rude and they would not have been so nice. It took over 5 minutes to get my daughter's phone. I had my Verizon account open, showed them with the number and called it. Same line my other daughter was given, this just proves you know her. I said I am here from 5 hours away and this is my phone. I said I can't add "Mom" to her contacts when you have had her phone at least 40-45 minutes at this point. They refused to give it to me and to get the phone back, they had to call the police or I had to wait 47 minutes to unlock the phone. I said, you are going to waste the police's time for this, they said yes. I apologized to the police for wasting their time when they arrived. He walked in, got the phone because I said I was not going back inside. He got it, I called it and tried to show him my account and he smiled and said, I believe you. Took my license, wrote down my info and wished her a happy birthday. Less than 3 minutes with a police officer. This wasted valuable resources. They claim if they find a phone this is policy however, they asked several people walking out if their was their phone and tried to hand it to the them before leaving the bar. My daughter had a large group there and some stayed behind for a few minutes, they didn't know it was hers. The phone was there for less than 5-10 minutes. They keep claiming they believed my daughters but this is policy. When they locked it for an hour, they tried to use face ID with my older daughter then her. They explained it was my younger daughter's phone. Their error locked the phone, not my daughter. This was beyond ridiculous. The thing is, I was there to run "Uber" for her friends and make sure they all got home safely. Her friends were going to use her phone for a ride and I was taking her sister back to her house in Columbia before the rest of the group was going to be heading home. I was their safe ride home. I hope this helps someone. If you have encountered this or your family member has, I contacted their corporate and they are going to have someone call me on Monday. They confirmed, this is never Hilton's policy and they were sorry. I am writing reviews on all Mizzou's parent's pages. As I started with, I wasn't going to do this but after being told I needed to be quiet on the phone, I don't want someone encountering this with themselves or their family members.

Do NOT book a room in the new tower. It requires guest to go to the 4th floor to access walkway from main hotel to transfer to new tower. Then you need to use a different elevator to reach your floor in the new tower. A tedious, slow and inefficient process. For us especially so because only one elevator was working! Also, when booking make sure your rate level entitles you to a free breakfast. It’s complicated because rates depend on which days of week you’re staying. It wasn’t explained to us when we booked. A bonus of the hotel is the rooftop bar with views of downtown. However, be prepared for very slow service. To be fair, the location is convenient, the staff is pleasant and the hotel is clean, especially in the new tower with new rooms. Just be aware of the inconvenience of changing floors and elevators.

Customer service was great

Friendly front desk. Valet parking. Extra safety precautions. Clean- the bathroom did have a bit of a dingy smell though.
