"First class service and food"

I have stopped in at the restaurant twice now due to being early for a flight whilst on business travel - I've sat in the bar area and it's very comfortable and quiet. On both occasions the food has been absolutely excellent and huge portions. The service has been nothing short of excellent on both occasions, absolutely lovely, welcoming and efficient staff - all of them - absolute credit to the hotel.

"Great location"

We stayed 3 nights at the Maldron Hotel in May 2026. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is limited but adequate. We had fresh bedding and towels every day. biscuits, tea, coffee, iron & an ironing board in the room. There is no conditioner or body moisture in the room and the shower gel has a very masculine odour so bring your own if you don't wish to use it. The bar has an amazing selection of drinks however we did notice it was more expensive than the local pubs. The hotel staff were very friendly and opened the breakfast early for us as we had an early flight home. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic right in the middle of it all.
