Super 8 by Wyndham Stettler

I would not recommend this hotel. The property has serious water damage and mold issues, resulting in poor air quality and an overall unsafe environment. The lobby smelled strongly of mildew, and multiple rooms we were shown had the same problem. The security latch didn’t work, the sink had almost no water pressure, and the mini-fridge freezer was unusable due to heavy frost buildup. We later discovered significant mold and water damage in the bathroom, which I documented with photos and video. We tried to ventilate the room, but by 5 a.m. we both woke up with irritated airways and checked out immediately. I’ve requested a refund and urge management to address these health and safety concerns.

We checked in late and had a pleasant sleep. The continental breakfast was adequate but we chose to buy fast food and hit the road early. Bed was very comfortable but the bathroom heater was on constantly so we opened the window, making the room the temperature we like it to be. We will be back.

Need improvement and renovation

Rooms are small but good for the price ask for extra pillows or bring one. Couldn’t sleep due to road work at 9:30 pm.

Not a bad stay but was slightly frustrating. I am not sure why some of the options for "upgrades" are even listed on the website when realistically they're not actually available. You don't realize you didn't get it until you get there. . . I inquired about a dog staying with us before when I initially was booking the room. I was told by the online agent that the pet staying with us wasn't going to be an issue because it is at some hotels. I had asked if there was an added fee because sometimes its a hard no pet rule or an added fee and rightfully - ish so. When when I got to the counter, I was told its an extra fifteen dollars to check a pet in with us, after receiving this messaging from their customer support line ahead of time. Super confusing and misleading. I'll pay your $15 dollars but some consistency across the board would be ideal. Booking a room for four, 2 towels in the room. Asked for more and was told to visit the desk to get more.

Stay was ok. Rooms need updating and smell musty

Nice and clean well supplied quiet with a pizza joint and lounge nextdoor. Simple breakfast with juice, yogurt, instant oats, toast cereal, hard boiled eggs and good coffee. Fine place for an overnight stay.

This is a not so new motel with a dated look, but the room we were in was clean and provided exactly what we needed, a place to sleep. The check in staff was wonderful, and very apologetic calling to see if we were still coming (we were actually 5 minutes away, so that gave us all a good chuckle) The air conditioner in the room was a bit “clunky” and made banging noises when shutting down. Just an FYI

Good location for accessing the highway for a reasonable price.

It was OK. The bed was very comfortable but the air conditioner didn’t work great.
