The Lodge at Pico Bonito

Great 5 night stay at Pico Bonito over NYE. Wonderful staff from the front desk to the restaurant/bar and guides for daily activities. Hard to find anything to complain about, great place to go.

This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first. I would recommend for the fantastic staff, peaceful setting, and opportunity to go birding and explore the grounds.

We loved it.

Spectacular flowers, exotic birds, lovely walks through the jungle and along the river. The place is lovely - a fantasy spot to sit on the veranda, sip cocktails, and enjoy nature.

This hotel was great for relaxation. Did not realize there was no tv in the rooms, but it made us communicate more. The location was remote but there was plenty to do on the property if you love nature. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.

The lodge is a special place to be, located in such a gorgeous setting with access to the forest and all of the exotic plants and animals. The staff at the lodge were friendly, helpful wonderful people. Our room was clean and very tasteful. The walks were unbelievable right from the lodge and the pool so relaxing. Fantastic spot!!

I am a frequent traveller. This hotel is the nicest and the people are genuinely nice and go out of their way to help you. Tania at the front desk was a very helpful resource and very obliging. Mario, or should i say Super Mario was also the best he could be. Our guide on the hike entertained us with numerous stories about his village. Overall this was such a wonderful experience. the place, is the absolute best kept secret in all of central america.
