There was a gas station next door.

Motel was in poor condition, malfunctioning smoke detector, towel rack was broken and hanging from the wall, no elevator, breakfast consisted of a Twinkie and coffee, one towel per person, no soap, shampoo, or hair dryer

Quick, last minute booking....convenient!

So much was going on..all at once!! Checkin in was noisy and a bit overwhelming..babies im guessing of the frt desk attendant was screaming behind the counter...ppl with night clothes on no shoes running back and forth...talking loud. Bedsheets had stains on all of them. Room had no phone to call frt desk. Walked all the way to frt just to be ringing the bell to frt desk for about 20mins. Someone finally came...he had to hunt down some new sheets. Went back to room to put on the bed...those sheets had stains aswell.
