TownePlace Suites by Marriott East Lansing

Was there for granddaughter graduation. Love the hotel.

I will exclusively be staying at the Towneplace Suites East Lansing any time I am in the area, and I highly recommend you do the same. The staff here exceeded expectations. Everyone was so helpful, kind and accommodating, I have no words to properly express my appreciation! Thank you to Amanda and Chris at the front desk for being so kind. Amanda, you MADE the stay! We did stay in a two bedroom, which was perfect for our needs. The beds and linens were so cozy, and the kitchen was an added bonus. With a check out time of noon, I absolutely lazed in bed longer then I normally would! Jackpot! Thanks again Towneplace! Until we meet again!

Location was good for my purposes. Room was clean and staff was great.

Curtain was ripped and no action was taken in the 3 days I was there. No service on Sunday. Breakfast could have been later, like until 10.

I like the 2 room suite for my family for a several night stay.

Bathroom floor had a bubble in the middle that wouldn't stay glued down. Bathroom, although it was divided with a sink in one room and toilet and shower in the other, was VERY small in toilet and shower area. Room was extremely hot on our first night. Pillows were not good pillows. Our room was disturbed on our first night in the middle of the night by someone trying to break down our door and screaming profanity. My husband was holding the door in case the lock broke. I had to call the front desk to have them come get the unruly person outside the door. The next day I was told it was a guest and it was their "third strike" and they would probably get kicked out. That didn't ease my mind or make my young children feel any more comfortable on the second night. I also noticed the outside doors that usually require a key for access were propped open and was told that the keys weren't working with them. So essentially anyone who wanted to come in to the hotel could.

The Staff was very nice and friendly. The room and everything in it appeared clean and well kept.. Bed was comfortable, lots of Hot Water for Shower. We did not have anything there for breakfast as we had other plans, but Breakfast that was served looked very good, Just a few heavy footsteps overhead from floor above our room but other than that we were very pleased with everything and would not hesitate to stay there again.

I have traveled a lot and have experienced many hotels, but never have I had service like this. The staff was amazing with my daughter and went above and beyond in every way. I cannot thank them enough for all that they did to make our stay magical!
