Villa Otero by Happyculture

The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the main train station, and 15 minutes from the Red Line metro and main shopping strip. There are some eateries nearby, but the immediate area is fairly quiet with not much to do at night. ​The room itself is a decent size, comfortable for 2-3 people, though the soundproofing is quite poor. The biggest drawback was the climate control. The hotel controls the air conditioning and only turns it on when they deem it hot enough. If you want any air circulation in the room, you are forced to open the window or balcony door, which unfortunately lets in a lot of street noise. ​On the plus side, they offer complimentary snacks and drinks for guests in the afternoon, which was a lovely touch! Just a quick heads-up for when you arrive - there is only one lift and it is tiny and only comfortably fits about 2-3 people.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Otero Happyculture. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always accommodating to guest requests. Their attention to detail really made a difference. One of the things we appreciated most was the complimentary 24/7 coffee and cold water. These may seem like small touches, but they had a big impact and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection to start the day. Combined with the excellent service and comfortable atmosphere, Villa Otero made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again!p

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut, nahe zum Bahnhof und Straßenbahn und doch sehr ruhig. Auch war die Einkaufsstraße fußläufig erreichbar.

Location: 10 minutes' walk from everywhere. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

The suggested car garage next to the Hotel, Gare Nice Thiers, is very expensive, around 4€ per hour, double the market. I recommend any other garage.

Very friendly and professional staff. Clean and comfortable rooms, very pleasant atmosphere. The complimentary coffee, tea, and soft drinks available all day were a wonderful bonus.

The refillable water bottles and sparkling water and free coffee and snacks was very nice. The ring was just the right size and the bed was very comfortable. I also liked that the coffee cups were China and not paper or Styrofoam in the bedroom. Very comfortable and I would stay here again if given the chance. Also super close to the train station, which made it easy for me because I was traveling alone and didn’t have a lot of help taking my lug
