Baymont by Wyndham Eden

The room was clean and quiet. The staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and yummy. Hotel mascot Baymont was quick to welcome me with her sweet purring. I enjoyed my unexpected visit to this charming area.

I decided to stay here while in Danville, Va, after a not so great experience there last month, and was very happy with that decision. It’s about 18 miles from Danville, which was fine since I went in during the morning, and returned to Eden in the evening. It was about half the cost of staying in Danville and much, much nicer than anything comparable there. The hotel, its surroundings, and my room were very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I could only fault it in two areas, and that’s being picky: there are no coin operated laundry facilities (although there is a laundromat within close walking distance), and the breakfast could be improved (with better quality hot food). I still give this little hotel an excellent rating though, and I’ll continue to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

This little hotel is a gem. The room was spotless, and the staff was exceptionally nice and friendly. It’s very convenient to Danville and Greensboro. The only things that might have made it slightly more perfect would be a coin operated washer and dryer, which they could put in the open corridor in the middle of the building, and an even slightly better breakfast - with better quality eggs and sausage. I was there for three nights and will stay there again when I’m in the area next.

No shower curtain in the bathroom, had to put towels on the floor. Stopper in tub did not work. Husband could not shower due to standing water in the tub.

Got there about 8:50 there was nothing left but waffles, muffins and cereal.

When my 5 year old son and I went to give the door card back at checkout they said they had to check the room. I told them that was just fine. When the girl came back she said the room smelled like cigarettes, cigars. Then she asked me what was the white residue on the counter. Was it cocaine!!! I was shocked to even be asked this!! I told her No one had smoked anything and she call the police there to show that it was not!! We dont dmoke or do any drugs. Other people was in line and I was very embarrassed standing there with my child!! I will not go back. The other lady give me my deposit back and I will never go back!!!

Very convenient from the highway and next to Walmart and gas stations and food options.

Smelled a little like mildew/mold inside the room - most likely due to the shower curtain not keeping water in. 1 of the 3 towels felt like they were brand new and hadn't been washed yet - so they weren't very absorbent yet.
