Location comfort

We got bitten by bed bugs and I ended up in hospital with an allergic reaction

The staff were very rude specifically the islander team doing the night shifts. During the whole of our stay 1 elevator was broken so it took a really long time waiting each time. Better to stay at nesuto across the street as there both the same standards the oaks is just more expensive.

Close to everything, walking distance .

Little dated

Location, rooms and service everything was perfect. Its definetly a must stay. Will visit again soon .

Poor customer service; no answer when you call room service; only 1 lift was working

We originally parked at the Social Club next door and went to checkin with baggage then discovered the hotel was actually next door. The location was great once we figured out how to get there. Note we were offered parking at $20 a day but there is a public carpark right opposite which is free without time limits so fortunately we did not prebook the parking - it would have been a waste of $40. The room and balcony was a good size, with good facilities but we were missing some things expected in a hotel room.

We booked a double room but were only provided with one bath towel and one face towel. There was NO PHONE in the room so I had to go down to the lobby to ask for the 2nd bath and face towels and a phone. The man told me he was the only one on duty so I could not be given a phone (it was Saturday evening) and he could not give me a face towel but would "leave his desk to get me a bath towel"........sounded like I was inconveniencing him - that did not impress me.
