Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bucyrus by IHG

Very clean. Terrific staff. Basic HI Express, no surprises. It's an older property, so the heat/AC/fan is in a window unit, but it worked fine. We were on the highway side of the building and heard noise from trucks, but otherwise it was quiet. I would stay here again if in the area.

Room was very clean, newly renovated and had good coffee. Happy they made the effort to put in a padded chair, but it was shaped weirdly and uncomfortable. The microwave was beautiful and a pleasure to use. Breakfast was excellent. The self-closing bathroom door was annoying. Linens/bed was comfortable.

I made a reservation for a King size bed and I paid for my reservation at the time it was made. When I arrived to check in - I was given my room key, when I went to my room it was 2 queens. I went back to the desk to inform them of the mistake when I was told that they ran out of king size bed rooms. I showed them my reservation made a month prior and I was told that it’s a first come first bases. To top it off, the room was extremely out dated. We will not be returning.

The property was clean and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue which wasn't huge was there wasn't enough food to feed the guests at breakfast time.

I just learned today that even though I had a reservation that I made a month prior to our arrival date for a king size bed, that they apparently do a first come first serve bases for room. I ended up with 2 queens instead of my king size bed that I reserved and paid for a month earlier.

There was construction close to the entrance. They blocked the road into hotel and began working early so there was no sleeping in.
