Wonderful hotel! Phenomenal staff and service! Among the best in the world. Friendly, warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. This is the only hotel I would stay at in Cape Town!! Be aware of cancellation policy which is about a month—only downside.

The location is excellent (2 minute walk to v&a marketplace, watershed, mall and numerous restaurants) and view of the waterfront lovely! Breakfast was delicious - there was buffet and then an extensive list of ala carte dishes. Turn down service was great - we got a little gift every day and the sweets were perfect to have upon coming back to the room! They also had a free chauffeur service that could take you to any location within 10km. We used it to go to Table Mountain and to dinners. They pick up, too! They only missed taking out the garbage in the toilet once after cleaning but other than that, our stay was perfect!

"A special place"

The Cape Grace makes one feel special from the moment of entry. The staff really make you feel as if they know you and care about your stay. Everyone there from the doormen to the concierge, the reception to the servers, are fabulous.The location is perfect, right on the V&A Waterfront. The decor is sublime and the rooms are lovely, from all the decorative touches to the comforts and amenities. Our stay at the Cape Grace capped off 3 weeks in South Africa, and it was the perfect way to end the trip. Whenever we come back to Cape Town, we will stay at the Cape Grace. It truly is exceptional.

"Great hotel in a fantastic city "

The hotel is fantastic. It is situation on the waterfront with lots of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Only one side of the hotel looks up to table mountain. The breakfast was lovely.
