Hilton Austin Airport

This Austin airport location is our go-to choice for an overnight stay when we have to catch morning flights. Right across the street is Park and Zoom, where we drop the car off and walk back to the hotel. Pros: Online reservations are easy. I like being able to select our room via the app the day before check-in. A digital key lets us head straight to the room upon arrival. The rooms are quiet, the beds are comfortable. They provide shuttle service to/from the airport. Of note: There's a mini fridge but no microwave. They have a bar/restaurant, but we don't use it since the food isn't great. The airport location also means there's nothing to do nearby.

We had an early flight from ABIA and we usually just get a ride however this time we decided to stay here and this made our early flight so much more convenient. The room is comfortable (got an upgrade) and the digital key is a great feature especially since we wanted to drop off our luggage quickly and then head out to dinner. My only regret was that we had to leave so early so we didn't get to enjoy much time here but will consider this hotel again anytime we have an early flight. The shuttle service was great and yes they do have 24/7 shuttle service.

Trust the reviews- stay somewhere else. Does not feel or look like a flagship Hilton. The hotel is tired and dated, there is wear in the common areas, like elevators, bathrooms and hallways. The gym is super small and not up to Hilton standards, equipment didn't work. Little things like old style coffee makers and lack of blankets or extra pillows in the room are disappointing, including only supplying 2 towels per room. Do not eat anything in the evening here, the prices are extremely high, with small portions and poorly cooked food $28 for a Caesar Salad with Salmon (3"x3" piece)- I was informed this is the appropriate size when questioning it- and it was dry as a bone overcooked. Internet was very slow in the room. Finally- the staff seem indifferent and inattentive all all touchpoints. One bright spot- the breakfast food- was cooked well and priced fairly. Still skip this hotel.
