Great amazing place to stay

Price was reasonable and close to where we needed to be

This place is great for the price. Took a chance on it since the google reviews weren’t the best and it ended up being a great weekend

The room and bathroom were clean. We stayed on a Monday night and the Lodge was not busy or noisy. The ice machine was filled to the brim! :) There is a nice firepit area outside with plenty of seating (although we did not opt to pay for wood and have a fire). Only a couple of downsides: The 'continental breakfast' was nothing to write home about - the fruit was not fresh. The indoor pool was not usable (no water). Overall, we would probably stay here again if we were in the area.

Rooms are clean and area is safe. For the price it is hard to beat.

The room was rustic and clean. The only strange part of our stay was when the morning attended was also the cleaning staff and we felt we were rushed out our room before checkout time(2 hours before checkout at 11am). It was a very awkward situation.

Stairs for 2nd floor rooms were in terrible shape and a trip hazard. Our room had an odd floral smell that wasn’t bad but a bit overwhelming when trying to sleep. Our shower handle was broken and wouldn’t allow the dial to pass the cold setting. I called the front desk 3 times at 6:45am but they didn’t answer. I walked down to the front desk and the attended that took a while to get there explained he was unable to look at the shower since he was the only one there and was in the middle of cooking the morning breakfast Buffett. We were also told they were full and they had no other room showers we could use. By the time the staff figured out the handle issue we had already packed up the car and couldn’t delay our trip to shower. We put a complaint in to our booking agency Beat Western declined and compensation saying they had it figured out by our 11am check out time. Very disheartening for them to treat customers this way. I would not recommend this place and will never return.

This lodge has a true mountain cabin feel, and the guest rooms reminded me of what you’d find in an average rental cabin bedroom—so set your expectations accordingly. I stayed here about a mile from downtown Blue Ridge, while my brother and sister-in-law stayed at a downtown hotel for more than three times the price of my room. At check-in, I mentioned that I have a heart condition and don’t sleep well, and I always request a quiet room. The front desk clerk carefully considered my request and placed me on the second floor. He was right—I was very comfortable. My room, and the hotel overall, was clean and presented exactly as a mountain lodge should. The bed was firmer than I’m used to, but I still slept well all three nights. The bathroom was nicely updated with granite counters and tiled floors. The only small issue was a loose sink handle that needed a set screw tightened, which I reported to the front desk. The TV was older (not a smart TV), but cable had plenty of choices, and I was able to connect my laptop via HDMI to stream YouTube. The location is another plus: the lodge sits in a quiet area within walking distance of an Ingles supermarket—very convenient. Overall, I had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Was in room 101 right by the entrance and heard the door beep and every interaction that took place. Went out for breakfast at 930am and there was none ... they advertise 6am to 11am.

We just needed a place to crash overnight so we weren't looking for frills. However, the room and facilities were very clean....a definite bargain. Would stay here again.
