Location, Front desk, the esthetics of the building.

The cleanliness wasn’t great, there was hair in the shower, toilet, sink and when we pulled the blankets down found a few more. My neighbors were extremely loud.

"A super clean family owned lodge located right in the mountains!"

Very close to the mountains and all the sites we wanted to see. Every big “attraction” in the area was a maximum of 15-20 minutes away. The staff were super friendly and accommodating! The pool was great for the super hot days we were there (high 80s low 90s). There was a trail and lookout 5 minutes walking distance from the lodge that connected to Garden of the Gods - which took us by surprise! Was a wonderful spot to watch the sunset.

I don’t want this to impact the score because it certainly was not a necessity, but after long days of hiking, I wish there was a hot tub to relax in, but the pool served us well.

The pool was great, right out the back door. Everyone is friendly, there was coffee and easy breakfast. We felt very safe the whole time we were there. Will recommend to friends and family and will diffenantly stay again.

We had to leave, our time was over.

"Nice stay near the Garden of the Gods."

Room was a bit small, but was clean. Breakfast was not supplied, but coffee, fruit and pastries were unexpectedly offered and were better than most "continental breakfast" offered by many other hotels we stayed at.. Great hosts.

Unfortunately the TV didn't work, but was advised on checkout previous guests had probably changed the settings. Nice to be without TV for a couple of days anyway.

"The best value cozy spot"

I liked everything! Room with kitchen, pool, super friendly staff family. Close to Safeway, bike rental and manitou springs/barr trail/pikes peak. Owner is awesome and recommended I call for anything.
