"It was decent for the simple reason that it was cheap & just a place to sleep I guess"

It was in a convenient spot from the concert we were at

There were roaches in our hotel room. I saw them smashed on the wall behind the curtains as well. There was also cigarette burns on our sheets.

"Clean & Comfortable :-)"

Prices in Des Moines were absurdly expensive ~ seems like the hotels really gouge clientele when there is an event in town! So although it wasn't my first choice, I was so happy to find a decent hotel at a great price! Nothing fancy, mind you, but my room was clean & comfortable. I wasn't there to luxuriate, simply wanted a hot shower & good night's sleep and got both here. Fridge/micro & in-room coffee. Free wifi w/ample signal. Can't find the business card where I jotted down their names but wanted to mention the cheerful, smiling faces at the front desk ~ both check in & out were quick & efficient. Excellent customer service. Will definitely return next time my travels bring me through this area.
