Hampton Inn Ottawa - Starved Rock Area

The staff was friendly and helpful, but our experience had a few setbacks. The first room had a noticeable smoke smell, so we requested a different one. The second room was better, though the sink had very low water pressure. Unfortunately, there were no luggage carts available in the morning, so we had to carry everything to the car by hand. Breakfast was average, nothing memorable but it got the job done.

Nice clean hotel

This is one of those hotels where you can tell that the staff get along and that they think of little details that will make your stay more comfortable. Check-in was friendly, the whole place is very clean (and either new or they do great maintenance), and breakfast had good basics. I only have two knocks and that's that someone had smoked in my room and they'd done their best to deodorize it but you could still tell, and I had to peel my own hardboiled egg. But overall, it was such a delightful place to stay. I don't generally do a writeup for every Hampton Inn I stay in, but this one warranted special mention.

The desk manager was so nice. She changed our rooms around so my mother-in-law could use an accessible shower. She even went out of her way to run a shower chair down to her room. We really felt the staff not only offered great service, but genuine kindness to us.

The hotel was clean and comfortable.

This is a great affordable find in North Ottawa! Near enough for hiking and strolling and enjoying town. Safe and clean and friendly!! Pool…Hot tub… hot breakfast….beds were very comfy and towels and shower was outfitted with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a lotion! They are dog friendly too!

So modern comfortable and spotless and the staff was wonderful
