“My stay was amazing! The hotel was spotless, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Check-in was quick and easy, and I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere was relaxing, and I really appreciated how quiet and comfortable everything was. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!”

"Old school Florida charm"

Super cute place! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Old school Florida motel on the outside with updated modern inside. Room was nice and clean, modern bathroom and vanity, floors, cold A/C. Despite being behind Floridas oldest Tiki bar, it was really quiet and cozy—no issues with noise. Downside, the water pressure was a bit weak and there was no liner on the shower, just a flimsy cloth curtain that let water go everywhere. Not a huge deal, but it was a thing. No other issues. Had a great stay!

A Hidden Gem for Rest There’s something quietly special about the Golden Host. It’s not flashy, and it doesn’t try to be. It feels joyful and honest. There’s space to breathe. People slow down here. Strangers laugh like old friends. The pool, the trees, the music, the calm in the air — it all adds up to a kind of rest that’s rare these days. And then you can enjoy the most beautiful beach just 15 minutes away! If you’re looking to exhale, to reset without performance… this might be exactly the place.

The staff here are amazing. Nice, clean, comfy room. The place is very well kept. Convenient location, reasonable rate. I'll be staying here again next time I'm in Sarasota for July 4th celebration.
