Parador del Dominico

We only stayed for a quick overnight, but the property was in a great location, the staff was friendly, the hotel was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable! They also have a nice open patio and water dispenser for your reusable water bottles (or glass pitcher provided in the room).

Since we only stayed for an overnight, I did not have much time to explore the property and amenities, but had no complaints for our short stay or room!

Our room opened on to corridor so we had to keep blinds closed.

Location was very good. The rooms are old and the beds were hard as a rock. Cheep towels and sheets. I was given the wrong room and when asked to get changedd I was told that since my reservation was made through Booking it was not possible. I was told there was a coffee pot and a mini fridge and there was neither.

Location is good. It's about 10 minutes to walk to Santa Domingo Guzman Cathedral and 5 minutes to Jalatlaco. There are many restaurants, bakeries, cafes and convenience stores within easy walking from hotel. The shower has great pressure and the attached breakfast restaurant, El Pipe, is decent.

Building is a bit tired and can be very noisy. When a large tour group was leaving at 4:30AM, dragging their suitcases down several flights of stairs, and loudly chatting in the lobby, I doubt anyone else in the hotel was able to sleep. It took about 45 minutes for things to quiet down.
