Wingate by Wyndham Humble/Houston Intercontinental Airport

It would have been ok except I came there bc the hotel I had reserved didn't answer their doors crazy right? So I was happy to see a human actually there and the place was clean and the girl was friendly(but extremely busy to the point she couldn't take care of people how she should have but not really her fault, short staffed!!) Anyway, I had just got in from phx and my rides car broke down, sol I decided to just grab a room for night bc my sister in law has only weeks to live and she was with me and I had to travel with @ major hip leg and knee injury where I can't even walk without a walker anymore until surgery and it's very painful. So when I got there and checked in she tells me here's your key your in room 310, I say ok no problem, thank you and proceed to go find the elevator. I found it but there's a big sign saying "out of service"????? Excuse me?? Your saying I have to go climb 3 flights of stairs and the rooms on other end of building.?? Yep , she says, sorry we don't have any rooms on the 1st floor and I can't give you a refund. So you didn't think that I should have known that before booking???? I'm clearly standing there with a walker and could barely stand. Anyway, got to the room with no help from the staff but by other guests staying there. I wanted to go eat and couldn't, go get snacks cant, need a drink can't go get one and not one time did anyone even bother seeing if I was ok or needed anything!! That's what I would have done for a guest if I had ever put them in a situation like that! I would have made sure I was takin care of!!!! It wasn't just a inconvenience but I dangerous hazard bc I wouldn't have made it out if there had been a fire!!!!! It would be nice to get a complimentary room so I could enjoy my stay like I should have to begin with!!! Thanks for listening, Tina R Dean 602-825-7277

Breakfast and coffee had something to be better. No Kleenex in the room or lids for coffee

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The Wi-Fi connection was sometimes slow, especially during the evening. Room service could have been a little faster, and parking space was limited at busy times.

The AC and the fan in the bathroom were both extremely loud and making buzzing/whirring sounds the entire time they were on. The only restaurant available for room service didn’t deliver our order after an hour of waiting on delivery

Overall, it is a good hotle and clean hotel. But the elevator doesn't work and we are on the 3rd floor... great location, everything nearby, like food and mini super mart..2min walk only.. Thank you, we enjoyed..Jameel so supportive..thank you Jameel..
