Rooms was very nice

My stay at the Austin Marriot North on Frontera was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and lovely amenities. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this hotel.

Very disappointed in our stay. Booked a room with 2 queen beds & when I checked in, they stated those rooms were booked. Basically stated there was nothing they could do but give me a roll away bed & breakfast coupons. My husband escalated the issue to the manager on duty & he made the stay a bit better but we ended up checking out early.

Location and cleanliness.

The room wasn't ready at 7 p.m. They had school kids attending a state competition staying there, too. Running up and down the hallways and loud in the rooms until 1 a.m. No one could make them quite down. Don't put regular people right in the middle of HS students. I contacted the office and got no results. In the morning, I told front desk staff and didn't even get the slightest apology.

Very clean, with large rooms. Very soft bedding and great pillows.

Bug in the fruit bowl at morning buffet. Go offsite, do not eat here. No customer service. Paid $21 for 2 pcs of bacon and the joy of seeing a bug crawling around the fruit. No thanks. Not worth $21. Appetite killer… Mgmt does not return calls, no follow up. Eat at your own risk. I offered to pay for the bacon but was charged full price. 🤦‍♀️
