Hotel Luna Convento

Excellent hotel in great location. All of the staff were very pleasant and service oriented top notch. Rooms were very clean breakfast was very nice also Great little balcony with super view. Only complaint was the room was on two levels with bed and bathroom upstairs not good for someone with bad knees. The “shower” was also not acceptable for this expensive of a room. It’s not acceptable to have to hold a hand piece shower in a tub with one hand and try to wash your hair. Bathroom gets soaked! Need to update that

Staff are lovely, building is old - not a bother but for heavens sake look after it! Swimming pool has a lot of rust, 'bar' is a hut and not rustic just ugh. Again staff are lovely but fighting against the odds. Wouldn't stay here again, would be nice if they cleaned the rooms. Photo shows what we walked into.

Staff often unfriendly, even impolite, not always ready to offer assistance and information; refurbishing and modernisation needed, especially for bathroom; huge issue with wasps at the terrace

I stayed at the Luna Convento in 2006 and always wanted to go back. It is still my favorite hotel on the Amalfi Coast. The location is perfect, the breakfast delicious. The views spectacular! The staff very attentive and eager to please. Already planning a return trip for next year.

Cannot think of anything I didn't like.

We stayed in the Tower Suite which was next to the sea and across the road from the main building. The private terrace was a lovely place to relax in the sun. The concierge was very helpful and good and arranged a great trip to Pompeii.

The restaurant in the Tower was pretty poor. The waiters disinterested and the food below average. The parma ham and melon that i purchased from Bailey and Sage was far better than the stuff served up in the Tower restaurant.

We have just returned from a family weekend to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The hotel is amazing, all the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food in both of the restaurants is outstanding, with excellent views of the town from both. We would definitely return to the Hotel Luna Convento on our next trip to Amalfi.
