Hampton Inn Tampa-Veterans Expwy (Airport North)

Great job guys

The room was very nice and the shower was Great.The only down fall was the kids in the next room not at all quiet.

Clean inside, but the windows were dirty. Breakfast was basic continental

The hotel was very clean. Staff was very nice and breakfast was great. We stayed in the room behind the elevators that became very noisy when people started to leave in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

room has seen better days. furniture marked , wall repair obvious and carpet frayed. Thought the room price was extremely high.

The check in was fine. When I got to the room as soon as I opened the door there was a weird odor! It smelled like the most disgusting body odor & moisture. I thought if I turned on the AC & sprayed it down with the Lysol I bring on trips it would be ok. It wasn’t! That smell was awful. It was late so I waited until the next morning & I went to inform the front desk. She simply said “oh” and that was it! I had to ask her specifically to change rooms. Needless to say, I took all my belongings out of the room & left! I paid for two nights and stayed one! They couldn’t refund me because I booked through a third-party! I will never stay here again!

Ever had so little water pressure that you bang your head against the wall twice while showering? Well, that was me. In addition to that, the water stopped with a head full of shampoo. It came back on after a minute or so only to cut out again with my body lathered with soap. This was really a pathetic experience for a Hilton property.

I checked in and requested a digital key through the app. I received it but the digital key didn’t work when I approached my door on the 5th floor. It has worked at other Hilton properties, not this one. I then had to return to the first floor with my luggage to request a physical key. In the morning, the water pressure in our room went out multiple times when showering and the temperature was either scolding or ice cold. We called the front desk twice and they didn’t answer. We then messaged them in the app, still no answer. When I went to the front desk, they apologized but offered no solution and said they hadn’t heard of any problems. Well, I just told you the problems. I paid $300 for one night, which is extremely high for a Hampton Inn in this area. Despite the price, it was the worst stay I’ve had at a Hilton. I will not return to this property. I expect better from Hilton.

Felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe when one of the employees opened our room this morning without our approval. Completely unacceptable behavior

Arrives to stressed staff with Internet issue. Got through it for a check in. Room nice but bathroom needs some TLC. Nice fixtures and concept, but showers leaks bad out into the floor and shower door doesn’t stay shut. $50 and it would be back to good standing with caulk and leveling.
