Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Marietta near Dobbins ARB

Very convenient location.

I stayed a couple of nights as a guest and then checked out.

Large comfortable room.

Ice machine not in service. NO continental breakfast served as advertised on line. Would not stop by again.

When I entered the room there was a smell like old, obviously it disappeared or we got used to. I made the request before arriving of having extra towels, a hairdryer and they weren't there. But the lady who made the cleaning next day was so kind that she brought them. The thing that made me feel uncomfortable is that the ~breakfast was not included~ when in booking is mentioned, I asked the time it was served and the person in turn told me they don't serve any. So, in my opinion, they should lower the prices because that was an important key in why we decided to stay in this hotel.

Property is unkept. Rooms are out dated. Comforter had stains. Furniture old. I checked out and went to another hotel.

Check in was easy. Went to room #206, I always check for bed bugs. I don’t have to look far. There was a bed bug crawling on the pillow!!! Waiting a on refund from Expedia. Over all: 0/10

Hotel needs to be flattened, outside vents and decor visibly falling off building! Musty smell in entire hotel, carpet stained in hallways and room. Holes in room ceiling, stains on comforter, hair in tub, towels stained, broken towel racks in bathroom, terrible place! No breakfast was provided!

My check in was pretty easy. He was helpful. It appeared to be clean but a bit outdated as far as furniture, bedding, etc. My phone didn't work. The area adjacent to the lobby was very dark. It wasn't a very "bright" hotel, just the decor and stuff was kinda dark. It wasn't horrible just like I stated a bit outdated.

When you walk inside the property, there is an unpleasant odor. We were assigned a room next to the lobby, the workers were talking in the lobby all night until 2am, which you hear it, was unable to sleep because of it. They used a very strong fragrant in the room, which gave me a headache. My guess is that the frangrant is used to mask the unpleasant odor. The bed was ok, it could use better pillows. The toilet was leaking water when you flush it. The price was cheap. If you just need a place to sleep and take a shower before hitting the road again, than it is ok. But I wouldn't recommend for more than 1 night stay.
