Holiday Inn Express & Suites Byron by IHG

Had to make a few last minute changes to the reservation and the staff was more than accomidating given the circumstances.

For a Holiday Inn, it was unreal. Facilities are run down, Waited 10 minutes at check to speak to anyone. I had 2 large cockroaches, crawling across the ceiling on 2 nights. I was told they spray the rooms weekly for roaches. But couldn't refund a night because I booked through Expedia. I won't be staying there again. Terrible.

The bathroom needs some work. Grout in flooring dirty and shower needs caulk replaced especially along tub and floor. Makes it feel dirty. Otherwise room felt clean

It was conveniently located offered a very nice breakfast in the morning. Well lit and with a pool

It had nice beds but they limited the towels and there wasn't any additional blankets in the room - should have had more towels and blankets for the price.

The room was nice and quiet and dainty. However the pre-loaded bottles of shampoo and lotion were empty. That's a major inconvenience and should be checked by staff in my room.

The roll in shower floor isn't steep enough to keep water from flooding the entire bathroom BUT the manager brought extra towels and took care of the problem. Over and above!
