Comfort Suites Lake Jackson Clute

Staff was welcoming and breakfast good. However, i am not entirely sure our room/bath was cleaned.

We checked in and went up to our room. We had not yet unloaded our luggage from the trolly. My niece said, "what is this?" and we looked at the bed and found live bug larvae on the bedspread of both beds. I went down to the office and explained to the lady and showed her pictures I had taken of the bugs. She acted like I was making it up and messaged her boss. They had one room left and it only had one king bed and a pullout sofa instead of 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa. I asked her if the new room would be any cheaper than the one we originally wanted and had reserved. She looked at me like I was crazy and never answered, We got into the new room and hurriedly had to leave to meet people for dinner. When we returned, my niece pulled down the bedding on her side of the bed and a popcorn kernel bounced out. We just threw up our hands and decided to just deal with it as it was a holiday weekend and available rooms were few. We never even heard I am sorry or anything from the staff or management.

I got one room with king size and sofa por my teenager my kid didnt sleep well because the sofa bed was uncofortable we felt the springs it bad and has stains on it he had to sleep with me and husband.

We went with a person with lung cancer, and the three rooms on different floors smelled like mold. We had to go out to buy something to try to sleep. It seems like the sheets haven't been changed in the rooms. We were coming from Canada, and in Canada, we've never had such a bad experience in a comfort-in as we did here. It was really dirty and smelled awful. Not to mention that the poor guy who works at the front desk was also in charge of cooking. It really made us sad. Don't expect too much food because they don't serve much, it's as if they don't have enough staff. Honestly, if you can stay in another hotel, do it. It's scary for your health to stay here. I had to cover my child with a towel that looked clean.

very unclean in the rooms the carpets were dirty and there was a dirty sock under the vanity in the restroom. the hallways and elevator were dirty.

For the price, I expected the room to be be more updated but it was a clean and comfortable stay.

THE Front Desk Clerk Mr. Shame was very Nice and Great Customer services he made our stay awesome. The Breakfast was good and Hot and Fresh. The Beds were comfortable and clean. i will return soon!!!

A few roaches and Room 215 the knob on the tub was broken please be careful when turning it falls right off no screw attached.

Friendly staff, clean but there was an odor in elevator.
