Lovely style, setting and location

No extra service or treatment despite it being a stay specifically for my birthday. The beach club and restaurant was out of use for a private event which we were not informed of. They charged us for bringing ice to the room even though there was none provided in the first instance. The bathrooms in the rooms are not private, they have a thin curtain which doesn’t even cover the door. Breakfast was a very basic service with cooked breakfasts not included even though we had paid for breakfast. The concierge was unable to help with any request, bars for aperitif, dinner reservations, winery tours etc. The drinks from the hotel bar were very average and the bartender didn’t know how to make a number of classic cocktails. We were told by reception one price for the beach cabanas and when we got down to the beach the attendants there said the price was in fact double and that we had been misquoted. There is no welcome or valet service when arriving by car, we had to park our own car and bring our cases up the driveway to reception ourselves.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The location is amazing. We stayed in ‘The Nave’ building which is newly refurbished and has a clean modern feel in contrast to the older buildings. The shuttle service into town was amazing. We couldn’t fault the hotel and can’t wait to go back soon.

Very good location, territory, breakfast. The rooms are nice, though small in the main building. Superb beach. The Hotel is a very good choice for anyone, who can afford it (as it is quite expensive).

The beds in the rooms of the Wellness center are uncomfortable.

The beach tents should be free of charge for the hotel residents.

This is a fabulous hotel. The grounds are simply stunning, the staff are exceptional and all of the food and wine we had was absolutely delicious.

Nothing whatsoever.

It is a beautiful hotel, we stayed at Augustus Lido, a house built by Agnelli, the father of Gianni Agnelli , it is a beautiful house with a big porch where breakfast and dinner are served overlooking a beautiful garden with super old trees. The staff is very attentive, special recognition to Edoardo (waiter), Simona and Letizia (front desk), Elena (waiter) and Stefano (best concierge ever). They treat you like family. Room was spacious and bed, pillows comfortable. The beach club is superb, elegant, discreet and secure. You can easily access the beach club through and under path built by Agnelli family so you don’t have to cross the street to access the beach.

Breakfast was good quality but they should remove your plates from the table once you are finish eating since breakfast is buffet and a la carte.
