GBBreakfast the 2nd morning ( sunday) was very good. The room was a good size, clean and quiet Nice grounds. I didnt experience the dinner but what I saw looked nice.
The bed was too firm for my liking. The fan sounded like a tractor and couldnt be used there was no alternative ie air con. No shower cap ( I assumed all hotels supplied one) not enough shower gel or shampoo for 2 guests in the room. By 9.40 on the Saturday morning the hot breakfast was not topped up ie... no scrambled eggs or baked beans left. No croissants. Food was very thin on the ground as the saying goes.

Facilities seemed tired. Shower only ran cold water. Daughter asked for her babies bottles to be sterilised in a microwave but staff were not helpful. Thankful the young child was 7 months and we stayed only 2 nights had to use unsterile bottles. Breakfast lady waiter blond hair was lovely and very helpful.

The switch went off and few of the guest could not charge their mobile gadgets When the reception was informed it took long for them to resolve the issue. One of the housekeepers is the one who went to check the switch and saw that it had tripped. I know sometimes it impossible but if people are coming for a function try and put them together.

short cut with Google map took us a long the narrow lanes to get to but there are alternative better roads on the way back

No cold water in bathroom Also 4 of us visited but when ordering food from bar only 2 meals come out because chef thought it was a duplicate as they were same items ordered
