The whole lobby was under construction Breakfast the worst I ever had no eggs at all

Hotel was in a very nice location and easy to get to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall I felt like the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was not great but I believe it was due to their ongoing renovations which they also apologized for. I can’t really say this would have affected me staying here even if I had known.

It was easy to get to. In the middle of all the things we wanted to do.

It was under construction, but the improvements that they're doing will be great once they are done.

Location is good next to a steak house and I hop.

Shower was not very clean, the pillow cover came off of a pillow, and the zipper cover was full of yellow stains.

We had good hot water, we had good A/C. We had lots of pillows. The side table being able to move was nice. There were lots of outlets.

Despite arriving at 7:30pm, the first room we were given had not been cleaned yet, though check-in supposedly starts at 3pm. When informed of this, the front desk attendant said "housekeeping is REALLY behind, I do have ONE room," and quickly got us set up there. The pull out couch mattress was dirty. Stains, but also spots that could have easily been spot-cleaned but weren't. It also had no bedding, I needed to ask at the counter and was handed a (too big) fitted/flat sheet and a course fleece blanket. The chain lock leading to the adjacent room was not securely screwed into the wall. The closet door didn't close. There was an electrical outlet near the couch with no faceplate. General old-building disrepair everywhere. Every room we'd been in there was peeled paint, rusty doors, water damage, chipped baseboards, vents covered in thick dust, etc. How they've passed a maintenance inspection in the last year is beyond me. Breakfast was a joke. Nothing freshly cooked, just prepackaged snacks (Muffins, yogurt, individually wrapped ultra-processed waffles, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches). This might have been due to the renovations, but it was still not as described. Pool hours are posted from 7am-11pm, however they only open it at 5 pm. This meant the water was still very cold. We noticed later one night it finally started pumping out warmer water, but it didn't warm up until almost 10pm. The whirlpool was warm, but it never got hot. The pool is fairly small. We stayed during some obvious renovating of the lobby and surrounding areas of the ground floor. During the first two days there was a strong odor of sewage in the lobby. The windows did not have screens. The windows do open, so the lack of screens is a concerning safety issue. The mini fridge was either too warm or too cold. It froze a half gallon of milk in less than a day.
