Highway noise

The cost was cheap and the convenience to the highway was great. Food places were not far away come to find out.

The very first night I checked in, the gal behind the counter couldn't tell me what places were in the area to go eat. Also, I was staying the week and the same gal keyed my room key for 1 night instead of 4. The gentleman behind the counter the next day fixed my key tho. He was very helpful. Housekeeping provided fresh towels each day and emptied trash but didn't clean much beyond that. The first night I stayed, the shower still had the last person's used shampoo and soap in the shower and there were pieces of lint and paper on the rug near the bed. The next week I stayed in the same hotel cuz it was convenient to where I needed to be for business purposes. The gal put me in a non-smoking room that had a powerful smoke odor as soon as I opened the door to the room. The gal immediately put me in another room and apologized. She told me housekeeping didn't tell her someone smoked in that room. Proof again that the cleaning staff doesn't bring their A game to work. Otherwise, the other staff was kind and helpful and although cleanliness could have been better, the room/hotel wasn't bad. Could've been a lot worse.

The room had mold on the ceiling, it smelled like mildew. The breakfast was cold minus the gravy in the crockpot
