The air conditioner could not be fixed. and they were unable to get us a room on the first floor, as we did not want to be on the 2nd...

"Rooms are full of bugs"

We booked two rooms and when we checked in, the beds and carpets were covered in tiny insects. We were uninterested in staying and were not refunded our money because we had already checked in. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The only true complaint is that this hotel does not have an elevator and the stairs are steep. As someone with knee and hip issues it was difficult to navigate. We watched several elderly and someone very pregnant have difficulties as well.

The property needs maintenance. Our bathroom light was out and the kid on duty couldn’t fix it and when he called the manager, he said he couldn’t fix it until the next day ( we were only staying one night). They did offer us another room, but we were already unpacked and heading to dinner. Breakfast didn’t offer many options as the last AmericInn we stayed at did (that hotel got 5 stars from us, by the way).
