Suburban Studios Stuart near Federal Hwy 1

Don’t understand the reason the hotel charged my credit card $100.00 deposit on the room. They said because I used a third party for the reservation and not there web site.

Location, scenery, comfortable bed, easy access to HWY and stores

•Internet kept streaming in and out very frequently. •Coffee cups were too large to fit the one cup coffee maker. Also had to pay $1.75 for 2 packs of coffee in vending machine! •Doors inside & out are damaged and disgusting. •Cleaners DO NOT CLEAN (Room was not cleaned upon entry! Was told it would be cleaned on second day of stay and was not followed through with! Sheets were NOT changed. •Cigarette burns on comforter. •Smoke can be detected in elevators and from inside the room when the door is closed!

Place is dirty and rundown. Front desk guy was having a meltdown. Wouldn’t allow more than one person in the lobby to check in. The elevator broke so we weren’t able to get to our room (handicapped) he blamed the elevator breaking on us (six people) he said too much weight and we shorted it out.

Toothpaste in the sink along with dirt and dirt & debris from prior tenant on the floor. Missing blinds that don’t shut all the way and the TV didn’t even work. Lady in the front office didn’t care and just refunded my money without another room after we checked in at 3 pm, ended up having to wait another 5.5 hrs for another room.

They house long term residents there who are sketchy at best. I caught bronchitis because the auto fan did not shut off and ran all night.

Rooms are OK, but outside property is very shabby. Frankly, surprisingly expensive for such a shabby place

It was clean, nice shower. But room smelled like cigarettes and the a/c was very loud
