"Did not receive the room we booked and after spending an hour on the phone not given any resolution."

We had reserved a room with three beds but where only offered a room with two beds. After spending an hour on the phone with booking.com and the hotel and booking.com blaming each other, we were given no resolution. We were then charged for an extra room and promised we would get the money back. This has not happened and my three subsequent messages to booking.com have remained unanswered. Very bad experience, we did not get the room we were promised when booking and no one is taking responsibility for it.

Disappointed in the breakfast options. Coffee pot empty both mornings between 8 and 8.30. Lobby very cold and fireplace not on. Expected it to b warm and cozy but it was too cold to enjoy eating.

"We asked for 2 rooms close together but were on separate floors. Otherwise, our stay was nice."

The staff was very nice, at the front desk and at breakfast.

The view from our window was over a pretty river but there was a large amount of trash floating near the water’s edge.
