Our room was beautiful and very clean. The evening was quite perfect, except for a bad thunderstorm, however all was well inside. The front desk folks were very polite and we would recommend staying there to anyone who is considering a visit to brainerd MN.
Not many people, so it’s quiet. Only downfall is the pool is down for the unforeseen future.

We arrived late afternoon, got our room, dropped off our stuff, and then headed to the event we planned to attend in Brainerd. Got back to the hotel late, but found the TV wasn't working. Staff responded to the issue right away and Jim, the maintenance man, ended up getting a new TV for our room. He did a great job, working quickly and efficiently to get the new TV hooked up. I don’t care for laminate flooring which our room had. I prefer carpet, but that’s just my personal preference. The hotel is being updated, but still has a ways to go. Overall, a good stay.
I was upgraded for free. The room had an outside door that allowed you to pop right outside your room to smoke. I've been to a lot of hotels, and this one by far had the very best Continental breakfast of all of them. It was adorable. They had so many options other than the usual eggs+sausage+cereal. I've literally never checked out of a hotel full from the breakfast until this place. The staff are really friendly and one in particular had like the six sense that really good hotel people have, that allowed her to know exactly what was going on even before your knew.
It was a pretty good stay, I had some trouble with my card at check in, but it happens with my card at any hotel. Other than that, it was pretty good.
Good value for the price. Continental breakfastwas good. .
Good inside a little rough outside. Could use a landscaping clean up.
