Rodeway Inn Bedford

Very old motel but it was a clean room. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker was nice. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed I slept in was too hard. All I did was toss and turn and woke up with a back ache.

Had a little odor to lobby and room. AC wasn’t on when I entered and it was 84 degree. Put AC on and it worked for about 15 minutes then shut off and fan just blew all night. Had to open window to get a little air. Towels had odor as well as did bed. spend the extra $40 and stay at the Hampton across the street

Clean and comfy room. Property is in good condition

Good hot water for shower, clean bathroom and linens, distance from Turnpike is minimal on travelers to stop and go. Things that needed help was that outside of building is cracking, entire inside corridors stuffy and hot, had trouble closing room door to lock.

clean. cheap.phone was not working. fan was not working

Staff was irogrant the hotel is just nasty the place is ran down and old looking

Room had only 1 queen bed, we reserved 2. Asked for a new room with 2 beds but the new room smelled like smoke and the bed side lamps didn't work. Would have settled for this room but we were asked to return to the office to finish checking in after an hour. At that time they said they would give us a new room inside hotel because the rooms outside around back "were with the Mexicans and they can be pretty rough". This is what the owner's wife, Mrs. Patel, said to me word for word. At that time we decided to call expedia to cancel the reservation and make other arrangements.

The Location was good and they have pet friendly rooms. Aside from that, my room at the back of the hotel, was across from a very loud group of men who were drinking, talking loudly, and playing Loud music. I called the hotel # to request another room and was told there wasn't another room. So i asked that they do something about the noise. I was told "no" and the man hung up on me. I had to call back. A woman answered and said she would talk to the men, which i believe she did. It got quiet for awhile. I slept little that night and was very displeased by the rudeness and and lack of interest in helping a customer. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room was spacious, check in 24 hrs was accomodating. There were few parking spaces and continental breakfast had limited options. However for a quick overnight stay it was well worth the price.
