It was a great price for the size of the room.

Small things like having a decent size bin, more than one spoon and a sharp knife would have made the stay more functional.

Very close to all the main attractions in Kaikōura.

The older man was not very accommodating or friendly—he wasn’t nice to the guests, and the room was dirty.

Great communication from owner, telling me what room I was in. Nice sunny room and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice and hot. Added bonus as there was 3 of us, we were asked if we wanted the adjoining room.
