Jamaica Palace Hotel

Great customer service all round. From front desk, to managers to bar staff and servers. Was really quiet as not many guests when we stayed which made it a nice relaxing experience. Roads leading to the property are quite bad as they are currently fixing them. Overall food was good (enjoyed dinner and breakfast) but lunch options could be improved.

The property was clean and kept in immaculate condition. The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean. Each day the housekeeping staff did a superb job in keeping the rooms clean. Jennifer, the supervisor of the housekeeping team, was awesome! The Chefs and the dining room team gave superior service and the meals were delicious and divine. Ms. Campbell and the front office team were very welcoming and made sure to cater to each guest’s needs. The grounds of the hotel are kept in pristine condition and the pool in the shape of Jamaica is one of the biggest and best kept pools I have seen. My stay at this hotel was wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay. The only issue was the Road condition leading to and from the hotel and this really had nothing to do with the hotel.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED, and I have stayed in many. 1. There are no AC in the dining/restaurant or Lobby 2. You are not allowed to have visitors to your rooms although this is not an all inclusive hotel with any amenities. 3. If you would like your guest to come to your room it is US$66 - for day pass - not stay over guest. 4. Remember there are no amenities 5. The beds are musty and stuffy 6. The beds are as tough as concrete- literally. 7. They seem to have plumbing issues / the toilet doesn’t flush properly and the water backs up in the tub 8. No kettle or coffeemaker , no coffee or tea. 9. They need a new chef- food is not good at all. However, The manager, Ms Campbell, is really not bad. ( the new owner I heard is very mean and oppressive). The staff are very pleasant and courteous - the best I’ve ever met in Jamaica - but they are not cheerful, you can tell just by looking at them. As nice as they are, they seem so timid and uncomfortable.

We had a very pleasant two-day stay at Jamaica Palace. The condition of the property and facilities was excellent. Our only "gripe" was with the food; quality of preparation which can stand to be improved. This is the only area I'd give a merely OK rating.

The rooms were nice and clean, the bed is a bit stiff. It would also be nice to have more of a variety in terms of food and if it could stay open a little bit later. The pool also closes early, at 6. The hotel employees were all very nice and helpful .

The property was really nice and cozy. Would definitely go back.

The property was beautiful. Lots of art inside and outside. Peaceful. The food and drinks prices were too expensive. Food was good. The road leading to the hotel in under construction.
